My dad and family, alongside Senator Hasegawa in Washington State worked hard to get SB5142 passed and today the Houston Eminent Domain Fairness Act was signed into law by Governor Ferguson! This doesn’t mean my family’s fight for what was taken is done – but what it does mean is that what happened to my Grandparents won’t happen to anyone else again in Washington.
